I have been with my current girlfriend for over 2 years, but before that I had another one, who is currently overseas. she still loves me and wishes to see me . . .
The problem is, I have never told her about my new girlfriend whom I am planning to marry. I don't love my old girlfriend anymore (although I still like him as a best friend), BUT I REALLY don't want to hurt her by telling the truth, because if I do that, her self-destructive pessimistic nature is sure to haunt her for the rest of her life . . .
I don't want her to think that she was "destined to be left" by knowing that I chose my current girlfriend over her.
I'm so lost please help me to out...
