I am looking for gifts for some of my friends who are single (as in never married) parents. All of the books that I have found address divorce and custody issues which are not relavent to their parenting situation.
I tried a subscription to a popular parenting magazine for one friend. The feed back that I got from her was that it was a waste of money for her. She made comments like each issue is full of irrelevant articles for her because they focus on the husband-wife relationship. In the course of her 2-year subscription, there was not a single article about single parenting. I was so embarassed that I had insulted her in this way.
I have tried looking at the newstands and searched on the net but have found nothing. Help please?? |
