What if you dont want a date ?
Dated May 7, 2009 07:54 AM
Since watching "Kissing Stein" a few years ago, I'm aware of the idea that some people put 'Friends' or 'Hang Out' in their profiles when they are, in fact, looking to meet someone to date. But most of the time I just take someone at their word, and if I contact them, I'm simply looking to make contact with someone who interests me; a potential friend.

My question is this: Should I state directly in my first contact email that I'm not looking for a date. (I want to be honest in my profile, but there's no option for "Looking for: 'Friends or Dating'". . . How should I approach this? Thanks ion advance.
